Keep in mind
When a spinoff's shares start trading on a stock exchange, the value of the parent company's stock may drop by the value of the new company's stock. This is due to the fact that the parent company stock no longer reflects the value of the unit that was spun off.

...agreed... many bashers here have already stated DM is into too many different businesses... would be nice if a spin off could "silence" those bashers for a while... but amazingly those same bashers will likely now shifting perspective and begin slamming DM for doing a spin off... which we are seeing... LOL...

This is not undervalued , for the shares outstanding and the fact that at this pace of spending they could very well run out of cash in 2 or 3 quarters if they dont start bringing in more signed contracts .

I agree a spinoff potentially makes the healthcare division a target for acquisition if it performs well as a separate entity. A successful spinoff can demonstrate the value and potential of the healthcare division, making it an attractive investment opportunity for other companies or investors looking to expand their presence in the healthcare sector.

Very true. I have seen this BS endless times where a venture company tries to spin off their junk to lure in the retardos they are getting free money. The only benefit goes to management as they can collect more money and shares running the spin off. Don't get fooled: Money for nothing and the chicks for free is only a fantasy...you'll see.
