Having said that, that particular move is a win win for DM shareholders. If DMEVS truly was a lemon it's off the books. If NEWS can do a great job with it and their sp rises DM has shares.

The EV is a new industry and is going to have its ups and downs but they will get it right , for instance they have come up with a new solid state battery that can go from 10% charged to 80% charged in 10 minutes and travel up to around 1200 KM .

Honda will have thier hand stuck out and Canadian taxpayers will end up shouldering the risk like usual. I had big hopes for DMEVS but I can see now that DMEVS would be a long term drain on DM resourses. No sense debating the current viability of EV's, there are two camps and each are firmly planted in thier beliefs. Waste of time. With a new CEO and more focus now on the AI and Healthcare ...more

Ya if they ever did a RS it would just start the death spiral down again but this time you only have 1 tenth of shares now or what ever , I feel most called it correctly when they bought DMEVS , driving around in all these vans and charging drivers here and there didn't seem like a profitable idea , but if you stated that before you would have been labled as a basher .

deadlypup, no need to talk to them, it will NEVER happen, Trudeau is finished, he will be voted out and EV's will go with him, Canadians are not stupid
