Avoiding Unwanted Headlines

As many of you well know, I've been pretty critical of Kelli Ward's presence on DME's board of directors, which I think could place an unwanted political target on DME (of course, I also don't like the relatively large about of stock-based compensation she has received for seemingly having little business, technical or other experience of value to the company).  

Well, I was glad to see that she seems to have successfully avoided creating major headlines so far in connection with the January 6 committee (Kelli Ward, Arizona GOP chair, refused to answer questions before Jan. 6 committee (msn.com)).  The process isn't over yet by any means, but I feel like this is a departure from Kelli Ward's long history of seemingly trying to generate politically divisive headlines at every opportunity.  

Perhaps she recognizes that she has much to lose (i.e. DME equity/option interest) financially if DME finally concludes that her political baggage needlessly endangers the company's future operational efforts/execution, and is now trying to keep a lower profile (maybe).  Time will tell...

I agree with you on this one. My only hesitation in having a significant position in DME is that she is on the board. I wish she would crawl back in a hole with the rest of the fascists in this country. But I know that's wishful thinking at best.

I don't care if she is left or right - she simply is as worthless and dangerous on the DME board as either a Donald Trump Jr or a Hunter Biden (or any outspoken/headline-making political hack associated with either party) on DME's board of directors. Good News, Bad News.  Kelli Ward will have a lot more time to spend on DME business. But she may have less influence.  Still kind of weird that we have one of the false electors (who claimed they were duly designated Arizona electoral college delegates while filing Giuliani and friends  boilerplate documents) on the DME BOD. Here is the whole list. Mostly conservative politicians and political operatives with a smattering of small businessmen. No other physicians and no obvious BOD members of public companies. I have never been more excited about DME than I am right now, but the liability/risk represented by Kelli Ward is becoming more and more clear. I really just want to be able to focus on the good things happening at DME without worrying about her issues. Hopefully there isn't anything in the disclosed phone records that puts a political target on DME. We really don't need that at this
