More diamonds found at Chidliak project

PANNIQTUUQ/PANGNIRTUNG - The number of diamond discoveries keepsclimbing at Peregrine Diamonds Ltd.'s Chidliak project, which is located133 km from Pangnirtung.
Late last week, the company - which is spending $13.5 million onexploration work this summer - announced workers had discovered anadditional six kimberlites (diamond-bearing rocks) at the site, bringingthe grand total to 32. About 20 local employees hailing fromPangnirtung and Iqaluit are working at site.
"Peregrine has obviously been enjoying great exploration success onBaffin Island and many residents and businesses have also benefited fromour activities," Peter Holmes, Peregrine's vice-president ofexploration, wrote News/North in an e-mail.
Peregrine's share price stood at $1.83 on Thursday.

We are taking it on the chin today.  Second tranche of the PP came free trading and some are getting some paper off.  Be interesting to see how much comes out.  Potential investors have probably been waiting for this and good on them.  Had an opportunity to look at the technical report done on the property in 2001 by Stephen Reford (working for a consulting engineering

You are right, it's the first day PP holders can trade... but I am glad to see that we were able to chew part of it without getting hurt too much... I expect that when the one that wanted to sell will be done, we will climb back before the results are out...I am holding mine...  for now... good luck!
