Insightful new interview with Dolly Varden Silver's (DV.v DOLLF) CEO Shawn Khunkhun, regarding the company hitting "more bonanza grade silver" at its Kitsault Valley Project:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VaARS0uw00 Having implemented a cost-effective and innovative drilling technique called directional drilling, DV has been exploring different directions within the deposit to understand the size and tonnage potential of the system while saving significant drilling costs.
By drilling from a single mother hole instead of four independent holes, Dolly Varden reduced the amount of drilling needed, saving hundreds of meters, $1.6 million and enhancing precision.
Notably, the recent drill results extended DV's known deposit by stepping out 40 meters, revealing nearly 30 feet of silver with an average grade of 1,091 grams per ton and resulted in the discovery of significant base metal content as they drill deeper, adding value to the resource.
Despite a recent pullback in silver prices, DV's stock responded positively to new drill results, indicating strong investor interest. Plus, DV's use of directional drilling, combined with its growing silver and base metal resources, positions the company well in the current market. The ongoing exploration success and potential for further discoveries make it a compelling investment opportunity in the precious metals sector.
