RE:Takacsy in Globe and Mail

I will take a 40 cent buy-out.  As they get more and more gorcery shelf space, the sale are going to start climbing.  Not an if but a when. Patience is needed as this process is not happening as fast as investors would like.

I remember Takacsys pumping Dbox.  Has this guy ever been right?

I bought GOOD FOOD (FOOD-T) at $1.80/share and Mediagrif Interactive (MDF-T) at $5.25 on Takascy's recommendation.  Need to due some due diligence but he has picked big winners in the past.   I also bought Savaria at $8 and change on his recommendation and sold in the high teens.

I had a friend who held Magnotta for years for no gain before its' privatization. i also remember Vincor which was not a great stock. On the other hand , Peller has been a good stock. I figured the best way to check was to go the winery ( this was a few years ago). ...more

Oops , samples 3 for $5 , not $50  (upper case / lower case issue )

They charge for pretty much all sampling in the BC wineries. It is not an uncommon practice at all.  What you are using is anecdotal evidence and it is not really going to move the needle for anybody but you.   Takascy is looking at the movement of Ontario VQA wines into the grocery stores and the corresponding boost in sales.  That is where the real money is and we are seeing ...more
