Does Lassonde as the majority shareholder have the right to offer any takeout price to the minority shareholders and they cannot refuse the offer. Does this firm just keep losing money until share price is almost zero.

I agree 100% this has been nothing but a mismanaged disgrace for years.  The only hope is a buyout then get rid of everyone.  May even be too late for that.  What a shame when there was such promise a few years ago.
