The zinkers in NB
You can go back more than 50 years if you want/need to. Brunswick mining, Noranda, breakwater, callinex,trevali , and I'm sure many other properties and owners over the decades. Except for occasional peak ZN peak prices combined with low tolling/refining/smelting fees due to a shortage of concentrate, all those properties shut down during not just down cycles, but mid cycle as well.
How's this sound ? This is from a pea study. AISC of just 37 cents/pound and it's been sitting for years before the scozinc pea . Weird eh?
