PEA release date middle to late May

Why didn't anyone ask IR if releasing the PEA before the end of the month was still possible?  Jeanny says even if she had the PEA in her hands right now, which she doesn't, the earliest they could get the NR and filings completed would be the second week of May!  She also said that Glenn is in Australia to spend time with his family for Easter and will return to Canada (Toronto?) next week.

I spoke with her about any concerns about the PEA and 12 month outlook and it appears that everything is looking VERY good.  We'll just have to be patient when it comes to the PEA being released.

FYI, the reason the PEA was delayed previously was to account for the rise in indicated/inferred resources that were announced at the end of March.

Actually I don't think that part about filing is correct u can put the PEA out in a news release than file it u don't have to file before! So perhaps late next week or mid week is still doable!

Just relaying what she told me.  I encourage all shareholders to call Investor relations if/when they have any questions about the company.  It is part of the DD process.  And also feel free to ask them direct questions and press them if their answers are vague.

k thanks I will call her in rhe morning. not sure why they keep putting dates in if they cant stick to them. doesn't help investor confidence. unless their motive is to do this and milk this pea as much as possible.. this would be there 3rd delay! hoping still for a halt tomo:)

I can't see it taking more than a couple of days to write an NR once the PEA is in hand. I'm sure the PEA is contracted out to a third party who I presume would provide a timeframe for completion and would be pressed to stick to their deadline. From the last NR: "EGX is awaiting the results of a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for Santa Barbara, now scheduled for completion at ...more

Cool, yeah nothing I hate more than missing deadlines,I am sure the company they are using has done more than one pea report before, type it in print the damn thing, bingbaddaboom let's go here

Yeah, I too will call.  If someone is say its going to be late and now mid May, that really should be NR'd now, rather than wait to the end of April and get it when someone is saying its going to be late without an NR.  That should be market information for all.  Anyway, the flip side is that I can wait longer.  Just get the dates right.

I don't recall seeing a PEA come out on time lol it's no biggie though if its another week or 2 I don't think the IR lady is 100% sure what she is talking about I think she is guessing how would she know what's all involved with a PEA to my knowledge there is no saying a person can't pass on the info to the public before filing which I am sure it would happen and would the PEA ...more
