Grant of Options...ser20det

Yes...it was mentioned in Saturdays NR and I'll bet most thought the director was Glenn...It wasn't..It was Andrew Lee getting the 500,000 options. it wasn't just Glenn greasing his own palm. Those 500,000 will be a gift from the gods..at anything over .10 s/p .....Cam

So how does this make people feel that insiders are happy getting options at ten cents? Does it increase your confidence? Make you want to get a bit more at five or six cents?

Not really sure what else the directors are going to do at this point if the plan is to sell the company... and the PEA is in hand. Unless the plan isn't to sell soon and the directors actually have work left to do....

Well if Andrew Lee can get his shares anytime between now and 2020 at least we have a time frame!

This is just a time frame.... if he is looking to pick up these shares, we will likely see them filled very soon. I do not understand how this can be construed as anything but good news?!? We have an insider, 2-3 weeks after the company gets the PEA looking to dump $50,000 of his money into the company. As far as signs go, this one is pretty good! If anyone is "on the fence" over EGX and ...more

Just to play devils advocate. He isn't looking to dump $50,000. He was offered the chance to dump $50,000 at anytime in the next 5 years. Pretty large distinction. If he wanted to dump $50,000 right now he could pick up close to 750000 shares over the 500000 he was offered. Tho Lundin news is good. Heres hoping we get some good news next week.

No, I think your agreeing with me but I should go into more depth perhaps?!?         So this insider could buy at .05, but then likely could sell at .10 making a 100% profit in theory. The fact that he is NOT buying at .05 indicates positive things to come and he is going to likely hitch a ride up at .09 instead of buying at .05 and turning a quik profit. If I saw ...more

Why not buy at 0.05 if he expects it go beyond 0.10 anyway cause thats where his option is set. If he is going to wait until 0.09-0.10 because he expected 0.18 well  the 80% gain from the 0.10 option pales in comparison to the 260% gain he'd see if he bought in now... you know because hes expecting it go well beyond 0.10...

Options like this give incentive for directors and other senior management folks to actually try to do something that will impact the share price. Its essentially a risk free garentee that if he can do something that will impact the share price past 0.10 then he'll earn more money over his base salary...  Why does he need incentive to try harder at this point ... who knows... or maybe ...more

Simply risk/reward....  I have a bid at .08. I dont want to put that cash in at .5 due to risk. I know if it is filled at .08... we are heading up. Or like you said... they do not want to spend more $$.

The big picutre here is that he expects gains of more than .10.
