Emergeo Solutions Worldwide Inc. has provided the following corporate update.
Emergeo establishes Middle East joint venture
The company is pleased to announce that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Atlas Telecommunications of Abu Dhabi, to form a limited liability company called Emergeo Software Solutions Middle East LLC. The LLC will develop and service the company's growing business in the Middle East.
Atlas Telecom is one of the leading technology and global communications firms in the Middle East. Established 25 years ago, Atlas Telecom's products and services include telecommunications, satellite communications and electronic security. The LLC will target specific strategic projects in the United Arab Emirates and the region to help government and industry mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from potential or actual incidents, natural disasters, acts of terrorism or other major events.
Annual general meeting
The company's annual general meeting was held on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008. Re-elected to the board of directors for the ensuing year were Lance Tracey, Allan Larmour, Michael Morrow and Tim Webb.
