CNOOC is planning to buy assets in Latin America and Africa as it prepares to leave its Western operations, the sources said. In its 2021 annual report, the company said it was eyeing the Bohai and South China seas as well as parts of Guyana for production growth.

Great, maybe they'll take Orinduick off our hands at a good price.

I'd rather have the cash than sub $40 oil. If China is to ever invade Taiwan they'll need to start getting their energy holdings in places where they can't get the boot. Namibia is why I got in, and along with SA, it's where I'll make my money.
