My best guess is that AOI as a operator wants to keep more% than EOG in a imminent farm out.

Perhaps it is the case that the counterparty in a farmout wants a more capital-strong actor as the current owner and operator, or ECO needs money to participate in the 3D rollout that is now taking place in the Walvis basin. Or maybe both options. I note that the completion of the deal is at $500,000 for 1,200,000 new shares of ECO. The share deal is thus made at a value of CAD 0.55 per share in ...more
