NNL and Northstar's assets

Empower now has the right to take possession of the assets of NNL and Northstar Electronics following 'such' a default under the loan agreements and the related general security agreements"

"such" This is the key word here. Maybe they were just waiting for this all along. Now they can take control of the assets of NNL and Northstar and it will cost much less than we expected. I think it was a smart play on Leung's part. I think he knew it would come to this from the start hence all the delays. They(NNL, Northstar) defaulted so if Empower has the legal right to their assets then take them! This is just my opinion.

do you really think that Northstar is just going to hand over there essets without a fight that means court costs that Empower doesn"t have the cash to proceed with.

May be it didn't start out as a takeover but thats they way it might turn out. Hostle take overs happen ALL the time in Business. NNL and Northstar are the ones who 'didnt' live up to their part of the agreement. If they had the deal would have went through as AGREED by all parties involved. Do you think a bank or mortgage lender would take pity on you if you didn't make your ...more
