Congratulations to Paul Leung for closing the telco acquisition.  Yes,it has been a long wait for acheiving revenue producing company status. No, the company has not come a long way since new year.  Todays successful acquisition is a very small step forward and the shut down of EDS 5 months ago was a large step backward. Empower gained a company and lost a company.   Revenue producing company? 2 million in annual GROSS revenue after all expenses will leave Empower with very little NET revenue ...more

Well we've all heard the term "if we should live so long". It just so happens that I had my Empower shares in my wife's name in a seperate account that I overlooked prior to her passing a few months back. I have had to liquidate (at 5 cents) as part of settling the estate so, after 13 1/2 lousy years, I am now out for practically nothing. Somehow I expected something to happen in ...more

My condolences Pandora. It is never easy to lose a loved one. You know what is best for you but do consider taking a smaller position in Empower. At New Year, it was at 4 cents with no significant revenue. Now Empower has more than doubled to 9.5 cents and with the telco acquisition they have $2 million in annual revenue. The seller of telco valued Empower at 25 cents and accepted 3 million shares ...more

Thanks Walker, yes it is a tough slug after 50 years -- big adjustment. Helps to have a couple of young grand kids to keep you going though ... they drag you away from this computer a lot.
