PDAC Rick Rule

Rick Rule  is the 4th biggest share holder of sprott, so he has plentyof exposure to EPZ. After his formal presentation yesterday, he heldcourt at the sprott booth, when i asked him specifically about EPZ, herang  off a litany of numbers... this man has an encyclopedic knowledgeof all the companies he owns...incredible, he said that he suspects atakeover  with a "3 on it"  -meaning an sp of $3+

at the EPZ booth, EPZ-man says, unless they build   the mine themselvesno real need for a financing, and  in this present climate a takeover isprobable.

good recent news, a good PDAC for EPZ, and good metals prices, only the sp left to follow

Did he sell his EPZ.  I was under the impression he sold most of it from talking to some of their folks. Maybe he's getting his dry powder ready.  just curious if he mentioned it

He owns a ton of Sprott shares.....which own his  EPZ shares. Rule is IN EPZ.

Yes but he sold his personal EPZ. That was the question.  And he did sell. And he's exposed to much other stuff because he owns sprott

I dont know what you mean by "personal" _ Rules EPZ stock was held in global resource investments, all that stock was sold to sprott.  Rule is one of the biggest shareholders of sprott stock, he works with them now, he was at the sprott booth at PDAC.... he is exposed to the same number of shares of EPZ as before, and he loves the company.  Rule also likes to buy weakness, and ...more

redneck1. Some say that naked short, commercial interest conspire to engage “tactics” to push junior minors down. It all sounds like paranoid theory to me but, when you tell people about Rick Rules merger with Sprot and even provide them with links to the news only to see them continue a false agenda; it does make me wonder who they really are.https://www.sprott.com/Docs ...more

Can you short TSX-V stocks?  I thought you could only short TSX stocks?

i dont know who is selling, but I can only thank them....how else can i sell my traders for fat profits if i dont buy when the manipulators (or the stop lossers) are selling.EPZ is going above 3, if it goes to 1.20 first,  that is a gift, but it looks like a time to rally now.Possible "day of rage"  tomor and weekend  in saudi arabia. IN 1.67 today, and 1.77 yesterday...this stock is going way higher, and perhaps it starts today after the bernank spouts his tripe.3 tough weeks of funds  shorting the stocks  while long the bullion, lots of pessimism, which gives us bargains galore in gold and silver stock.

redneck, I don't think you can go too wrong at those prices with this stock.  After San Luis transaction completes then I calculate they will have about $1/sh in liquid assets composed of cash & securities investment.  You paid as low as 67 cents per share or $34M for the value of their Cerro Jumil deposit and the rest of their exploration properties.

cant go wrong here unless you over-extend with margin. down to 1.75 today, how amusing...as gold tags 1548 and silver 49  i trade at all prices so these low levels dont bother me.EPZ will be over $3 and probably much higher if it doesnt get taken out first.

Cant go wrong here, I waited for the stock to drop down from 2.03 to 1.88 and thought not a bad buy, just recieved a alert that its trading at 1.48, I definaltey went wrong here, and its going to take a rocket ship to get this thing over 3 dollars anytime in the next few months, I think Ill have to get a part time job at Mcdonalds after this stock is done with me, GRRRR
Comment by redneck1 on May 04, 2011 12:44pm
buying value is not wrong. the rocket ship is coming- i dont know when it launches, but i will be on board when it does... Im taking some of the shares i bought today with me above 3..... and beyond.

I fully agree.  Current market price does not make sense.  It's like someone is pricing in for gold to fall below $1000 and silver below $20, but those prices are probably historical and never to be seen again for many, many years again.  I thought $1.60 was pretty low and surprised to see it tank intraday to $1.44.  But I think it is all by design and someone is taking an ...more
