Volume
Despite all the shorter talk, volume this week has been very low. Sellers just aren't there. Buyers will be back once the debt ceiling issue has a deal.

Correction: that doesn't appear to be the case.

Taken from the article posted the othere day. E3 did not yet publish flow rate ratios as they were waiting for additional data but he didn't expect that the flow rates would be an issue. The bottom line is that these initial data while stressing they are preliminary, are a positive indication that E3's DLE field pilot is operating as expected.

The shutdown during the Obama years greatly impacted the market.

And Trump's 35 day shutdown at the end of 2018 did nothing. The DJIA increased steadily from 1st day of the shutdown onwards. That was until COVID came onto the scene. It's a moot point as of an hour ago, as a stop gap vote passed, to avert a shutdown.
