Only care about enough co-products,

to cover Opx, making the lithium free. Size & flow should make that very doable. Recover, drying & ship it out. : )

Would it make sense to run the lithium concentrate through a second extraction run at a slower speed ?  In other words, the lithium per pilot was only 25 % of the concentrate, but at slower speeds was much higher.

From what Carolyn Mussbacher said at Investor Day, and Chris has said on several occassions since, the preference is to have a high flow rate. Chris also said on a recent NR that they'll be refining/tweaking the process in the next month or two. I'm sure Carolyn and the other engineers who are working on the optimal approach are familiar with calculus, and I'm sure they'll be ...more

Yea, we don't have enough information. But I'd also say, they were testing for max flow rate to see which KPI failed first. It turned out to be purity. Where lithium recovery and concentration of lithium in brine dropped linearly, purity dropped exponentially. Since you don't run a system at true max rating, I'd expect a final flow of 12-13 ratio. Drop in the ratio by only 2 or 3 ...more

Hey MyZ. Do you care all that much about the co-products? Do you think the Company cares? Would there be that much $$$ in them? What I care about, is a POSCO and E3 JV. Now that will be something to write home about. It can't happen soon enough.
