BASF seem to have bailed out of the Bcancour preoject in Qubec so maybe they have some dry powder to set-up a project in Alberta.

That's a real possibility. Alberta's 'green' lithium brine, and existing infrastructure is an advantage to many jurisdictions, especially foreign jurisdictions like Panama - re: First Quantum's current mess, and Chile's ambiguous plans to nationalize their Li industry. We also have POSCO's recent MOU with Invest Alberta. That has no doubt put the spotlight on Alberta ...more
