Trump will be president again

Most believe this will negatively impact EV transition, but Elon Musk endorsed Trump this weekend.  

Certainly, little Chinese made lithium will be entering the USA.

Exactly. Trump makes fun of EVs, but he is also very protectionist and won't stand for China eating our lunch. Expect more tariffs. And with all the ev vehicle and  battery manufacturing planned for red states, he won't be able to change the direction we are heading now. Trump or Biden, makes little difference in the long run for electrification.

E-CARS is just talk. Just think if we only had E-CARS? The world will not last if is wasn't for OIL. Look out if Mr Trump gets in. These protestors will get a bill for the mess they make, All protestors do is leave a mess for the tax payers to paid.

I agree.  Trump doesn't mind EVs as long as it creates jobs in the USA.  And he despises China so he's going to need lithium from outside the USA.  I can envision Pollievre and Danielle Smith being able to work with him.
