So far that deal has been a bust for shareholders, the SP is less now than before the agreement and SLI gave up 45% of its stake. I hope E3 can structure things much better.

  Sure, but if E3 keeps 55% that's still about $1.3 billion for the project.  Where's that coming from?

It's been a bust because the price of Li absolutely cratered and the same thing happened to every Li company. Not because of their deal
