$2.68/gram selling to Germany? Mel R says TWICE Canadian $.

FACT....at the November, 2019 Open House, Mel R stated "we expect to get about TWICE our Canadian price for product sold to Germany".

In Q2 Eve got an average of $1.34 per gram in Canada.

So...Germany would pay about $2.68 per gram according to "da Boss".

Bob, what you are saying is true , Melinda did say they expect to get about twice what they were getting in Canada. The only flawed analysis of your projection of 2.68 per gram is that you are using Q2 2020 financials to get to that number. If we use Q2 financials from 2019 , the year she actually said they would be getting about double, the average price per gram being sold to Germany would be 4 ...more

Sorry I was using Q3 2019 numbers, if we use q2 2019 numbers, the same quarter when the second lucrative agreement was signed, the average selling price was 2.34 in Canada, making the average gram sell for 4.68 to Germany

Hey RP....if Q2 2019 was $2.34 average per gram in Canada, then Q2 2020 at $1.34 average per gram is a $1 per gram price reduction = a 42% price reduction per gram in one year. OUCHHH again!!! Cheers,  Bob

True RP....but, the MJ market has taking a serious "sheet kicking" with huge oversupply and price degradation to producers since Nov/2019. The Germans know they can pay way less...AND, there are several more companies now approved and selling to Germany that have come online since Nov/2019. The price per gram will be lower now. The scariest thing is that Q2 2019 gave EVE $2.20 per gram ...more

The main thing is love to know is how concrete these supply agreements that were signed are. Is the price per gram a floating number that changes depending on average selling price in Canada? Would that make any sense?. And true Canadian MJ took a beating and the market is seeing a surplus in inventory reducing selling prices. But this over supply seems to be a Canadian problem, not a German one ...more

Hey RP, we just don't know much about the German agreements. EVE isn't sharing any info about their status or price per gram etc on Germany. All we've heard in a long while was 2 weeks ago..."substantial shipment to Bavaria Weed". We have to guess quantity, price received and when the next shipment to Bavaria or other Germans may occur. For sure . Q4 will reveal German numbers. I understand they would not disclose price per gram in the news release, but a quantity would have been nice
