Dear Abby,

Dear Abby,
I am a retired senior citizen on a pension, and a shareholder of Encore Renaissance Resources Corp., or EZ.
My relatives are concerned about my old age security since I have fully invested all my retirement account money in your stock. This is the only stock I own, and they have criticized me for not owning something much safer such as T-bills or money market funds which pay a paltry low rate of interest. Of course, those notes and bonds are all guaranteed as "safe" by the government. I have no such guarantee from your company concerning the value of my EZ shares. Lately, the stock has lost a couple of cents and come off of it's high in the low 20's.
Should I now be concerned about it's value and heed the warnings of my relatives who are concerned about my financial stability and welfare in my old age? I know they will say they told me so if I lose any money. Is it wrong for someone my age to speculate, or should I only owned fixed income products that the banks sell? What can you say to reassure me about the future value of my stock if I need the money to buy groceries and gas?
When will we finally receive the results from the bulk sample shipment from the Kinross mill? It appears that some of the shareholders have some doubts, despite the multi-ounce potential and drilling results you have previously reported on the Bonaparte mine. I am encouraged by the recent press release concerning the option to increase the percentage ownership in the mine despite the cost of that extra 15%, because I know that if the price of gold goes up and you can produce lots of high grade gold that the mine will be very valuable and justify the cost based upon high grade production and increases in the amount of tonnage processed. That ought to translate into much higher profit margins from a higher gold price, and a decent number of ounces to be produced once the mine commences operations. I also believe that the option to increase the percentage ownership of the mine is open indefinitely, and that you may exercise that option at any time in the future. Am I wrong, or does it expire?
I eagerly await your reply and hope you will address my concerns, and grant me peace and guidance.
                                                                                          Yours Truly,
                                                                                           Grandpa.
