Concentrator

Has Frontier Lithium decided not to build a concentrator for there Pak deposit while the bridge is being built? Such acitivity would bring in real value. Is that not what Sigma did, selling concentrate 2 years ago?

Hard to get too far ahead of the infrastructure. It would cost 500 million to build a mine and a facility to make spodumene concentrate. How do they service any debt if the bridge is delayed a year or two. (It has been literally decades in planning).

Simple... just have about 800 trucks gassed up and ready to go the minute the winter road opens up. Then drive like hell for 2 to 6 weeks until it's closed again. What could possibly go wrong? Joking, of course. I remember, back in the day, there were thoughts of using the road to ship DSO during the winter period in order to begin generating some revenue,s but I can't imagine that would ...more

Can't believe anyone on this message board really thinks that the government not funding a $150 million road is going to stop Rick Walker and Frontier from producing these 66 kilometers of lithium deposits . If the government doesn't come through ( which they will ) the cost will simply be another line item calculated into the DFS .

You got that right Buffalo, this is the nail bitting time (quite time) before the the big push. Why do you think Salantis and Volkswagon are setup in Ontario?  Frontier has the largest, longest, widest and cleanest lithium depsoit ever EVER discovered on this planet,
Comment by lithomon on Jun 07, 2023 1:57am
True, but Frontier Lithium does not have the depth of Leadership to bring this largest, longest, widest and cleanest Lithium deposit(s) to fruition and that fact is being proven out every day. With a significant cabinet shuffle and the right leadership and operating management installed, FL is easily an $8 to $10 dollar share price. At this rate, the best that can be hoped for, is to shed the ...more

It is not the $ cost holding this up. The road crosses multiple jurisdictions and lands of multiple indigenous peoples and crosses sensitive environmental areas.  There have been discussions and negotiations going back many years. You can't write a ceck and get all the permits. The government can make this happen if it is a huge priority. A private company cannot just decide to build the ...more

Agree as a general rule , but According to Trevor in a recent statement, the road has already been permitted and has jumped all the environmental and indigenous hurdles and is just waiting funding by the government
Comment by Margin321 on Jun 07, 2023 11:22am
In that case they could just offer to pay for it themselves.  But oops,  they do not have any money. And there are a few more hurdles to jump. One environmental review is still in the fact finding and feedback acquiring stage.

According to Trevor in a June 2 , 2023 interview with Ian Ross on NWOnewsWatch.com  and I quote "We're pretty excited to essentially have three fourths of the distance to our project that's fully permitted and awaiting funding "

Okay... so the last quarter is up to us... shovels, bug dope, and I'll drive. I just need a few minutes to PAK. (couldn't help myself)

Put your own risk on the road not getting built. For me it's low. I'm not even contemplating that it won't get built.

Not so much if as when. A lot of our competitors are lining up agreements that will give them access to capital. We don't need that now because we cannot build mine, concentraing facility, chemical plant.  But eventually we will need $500 million for the first two pieces and another $500 million for the third piece.
