Road

Frontier, Mitsubishi and the Japanese government are the ones to push the Ford and Trudeau governments.  If we are waiting for the Band or Bands to get an all season road done we will be waiting forever. Too many internal dynamics at play there to count on anything. Having them as partners is a mistake in my likely unpopular opinion and it would have been better to strike a deal based on royalties.

What's the obsession on this board with roads? They have to build a mine, they have to build a processing plant. If all that is done they'll also build a few kms of road, surely.

There is no way to get the ore to that plant without a road...unless it's frozen during the winter season.

Even with the use of the winter road it would still make a working mine non profitable.IMHO With climate change this winter road now only lasts on average 2 to 6 weeks ,not near enough time to transport ore, supplies, heavy equipment. The natives do not have the money to start or build the bridge on their own. They and we are waiting for funding from the Federal government and perhaps some from the ...more

I'm from Manitoba and have been hearing about the need for roads to isolated communities my entire life. They never get built. I've lived up north. I've driven ice roads in Manitoba and the North West Territory and there is no way you will get ore loaded mining trucks hauling on ice roads.  The nickel trucks running out of Thompson with Vale weigh an unbelievable amount.  ...more

What Is Anonymous Trading? Anonymous trading occurs when high profile investors execute trades that are visible in an order book but do not reveal their identity. While most traders trade non-anonymously, there are several reasons that larger traders prefer to keep their participation in a market a secret.

The obsession is that the road (and bridge) has been in planning for over 10 years and just can't seem to get to the finish line. And a full scale mining operation really cannot happen without it. AND development of the Frontier Lithium resource will be leapfrogged by others and maybe never get done if the road takes another 10 years.

The sooner there is a takeover of this company the better. The new Arcadium merger of Patriot would be a welcome improvement in my opinion. What I do know is the current leadership can't seem to get the hard stuff done regardless of how solid the actual resource is.  The resource is absolutely worthless unless they can actually get it out of the ground and to market so I'm honestly ...more

Mitsubishi jumped on board with a material investment and commitment last week.  Suppose they did no due diligence and will consider cutting their losses within the first month with buyers regret?  Take a step back and reconsider your opinion on the currentl state of affairs.  Looking backwards for a suicide pass gets you run over.

Mitsubishi is not a fly by night organization with a market cap of 89B$.......they've made their DD in regards to FL, political environment and management. We are very hard on management....they have delivered so far! For me, the next steps are pretty much milestones of the project. - Permitting - Financing the project - Infrastructures These elements are detrimental for FL so that they can ...more
