Do we even want acquisition??

The recent news that Amazon is scaling way back on drones after recent hiccups may mean they'll just buy someone else's tech.  I hope $FLT does NOT leave itself a takeover target.  Lease to Amazon?  Sure!!  Make your own contracts?  Even better.  GLTA!

Takeover calculations place bid at near $1 B valuation and share price near $6 based on older calculations. Possibly more now. Just total speculation but IF this happens, it's a huge financial reward for DDC and shareholders but premature. They could grow to be more if they continue on this path and the buy out then would be even higher

Agreed. We don't need the capital or the connections to grow the business, so I don't see a buyout being beneficial to long term shareholders. If someone is willing to by us out that's pretty much a sign that DDC has made it and that much bigger money will follow.

Any bid would be around $3 to $3.50 right now, imo; not $5 ($1B).

$6 based on 5-6x multiple of EBITDA... just a guess anyway. Fun to dream!

DDC must now be 51% Canadian owned so is that even a possibility?

DSV, any Canadian Consortium (think one led by Fairfax), AC, Onex (parent co. of Westjet), Cargojet - plenty of potential Canadian buyers out there.
