Restructuring Good... Method, not so much.

Finally some movement on attempts to fix this slug. Moving Kent out, though a year late, is an OK move.

The mistake Mary is making is to let the guys who helped create the slug try to fix it. Promoting the middle management to run the refit is like the blind leading the blind. They need to bring in an outside change agent with fresh ideas to lead this, otherwise it is going to be more of the same. They will just chop costs for the short term which will leave open wounds bleeding in the long term.

The savey investor speaks again !!!! Tannin now that you bought in at 30 again, whats you average now......60 cents ??? Remember 30 cents is 50% down from 60 but 30 cents has to go 100% back to 60.
Comment by Coffeeme on Aug 23, 2024 9:22pm
Yes tannin, the board made the wrong call, putting the two operations managers in charge of the restructuring. That never ends well, though a very popular move amongst struggling companies grasping at ideas to turn around a business.

Seems that situation has been sorted Coffeeme.........what's do expect, or want, to see next......

Baserunner, that's a silly silly statement.....all of it.

20 years of silliness!!! Where have you been???? Please give your head a shake!!! Man
Comment by tannin on Aug 25, 2024 10:59pm
Been around for most of the 20 years brother. Only thing that counts is 'now', and 'now' looks better for FLY than for many years.
Comment by Givmeabreak on Aug 26, 2024 6:00pm
It does? How so? Fact remains that they are and always have been an unprofitable business that is not capable of gaining the market penetration required, to be successful long term. Any busineman worth their wait will tell you, you can't cut yourself to profitability. This is more like an exercise in rearranging the chairs on the titanic.
Comment by Coffeeme on Aug 26, 2024 6:25pm
Exactly. CEO's do things for a thousand reasons that we will never know, but this press release smells of panic or knee jerk reaction more than Strategy. Why announce a 20% staff cut, even if you are dumping your ballooned 5G development team that is no longer needed. It should be a note in the quarterly financials. If they are worried about the stock price dropping, where is it going to go ...more

armchair generals...you may be right, you may be wrong. For what it's worth, I'm still buying.......

Good! Looks like you and some other investors can't read the room! They lost their chance 5 years ago!!
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Aug 27, 2024 11:39am
The one thing they are VERY good at is DILUTING shareholders......Remember the private placement 2 years ago at 77 CENTS and the 10:1 consolidation that was supposed to help get a listing on the TSX and Nasdaq ????......Cant wait for whats next !!!
Comment by Agent86 on Aug 28, 2024 12:42am
I watched this company take money from Panasonic, close the us arm, dilute shareholders, take covid bailout money and continue to spiral down. What happened to the STC group? Tamdar? Lookback at the failed "almost have a contract with..." Hubris inside this organization is what has brought it down.  Will be bankrupt in 2025.
Comment by tannin on Aug 28, 2024 3:18am
Must be a different FLY Agent86. My FLY acquired a new vertical from Panasonic in the best deal ever, used covid funds to keep moving forward, has a tight equity cap at 40 million shares and is currently launching new 5G product lines that will give us the added level of mkt penetration we require. Tough right now for FLY, with all the costs of getting govt approvals for new products, marketing ...more

Tannin.....Another NEW all time LOW.......BUY BUY BUY... Catch the KNIFE !!!!
Comment by Agent86 on Aug 29, 2024 4:20pm
well I guess only a few like yourself keep believing in Flyhts schemes. Ooops down 16% today alone- you should be buying on the dip- lets see 40 mil shares at $.20 isnt that much. Think of all the money you will have in 2025.  I look forward to you saying "told you so" . Sold my shares at $2.00- oh bought them at $1.40
Comment by Givmeabreak on Aug 30, 2024 10:59am
Handing out promotions to prevent an exeduce at the top. This company hardly behaves like one with proper C level executives.
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Aug 29, 2024 11:43am
And dont forget about China !!!! They were banking on big contracys for 10 years !!!
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Aug 27, 2024 11:32am
You are like a BROKEN RECORD !! and a badly broken one at that...The only explanation for such delusional thinking is you must have some kind of relationship with them !!! !!!
