Who is listening?

Whenever I make a decision of whether to buy or not buy shares, I often go to stockhouse and/or other sights to read recent news and bullboard discussions.

Reading through the comments for the last several months, it's no wonder nobody is interested in buying this stock, despite being grossly undervalued with huge upside potential.

My conclusion from reading through the comments is that authorities are not listening, but potential investors are.

From Sudbury, it is good that you read the bullboards in my opinion and would tender a guess you are tired of the narrative. The real problem is in how the company is operating or not operating, not about what posters are saying. The reason for the upset shareholders remarks is due to the company's own making. I don't agree with the company's tactics. There was a long list of facts put ...more

I hope your points are all being made directly with regulators. I hope you have no illusions about any regulator monitoring posts here or any other social media platform. Yes, it's clear somebody is monitoring for the purpose of getting anything they don't like deleted, but it's not the press or regulators. Have you tried reaching out to the press? Maybe one of those 6 o'clock news ...more

For starters, I've been invested in FNC since about 2007, when the ROF was first discovered.  After the NOT buyout, this is now my largest holding...and I have friends and family who are invested as well...to the tune of about 2.5 million shares in total currently. I certainly follow the news and the conversations and I understand people's frustration with authorities that do nothing ...more

Time wise same as you with millions of shares with family members too. Frustrating is understating it. I can't sit idly by and watch the really bad moves made. I can see what is happening and don't agree or like it.  Each to his own and good luck to you and yours.

I get it.  No disrespect intended.  I'm frustrated too.   But I still see much upside and that's why I'm still around.  And I'd like to hear why you continue to stay invested. Good luck to you and yours as well.

Thanks, the main answer is the large shareholdings, not looking for pennies as the return. The upside is only likely in my view if there is a decent  buyout where shareholders get the return, not the insiders.

Valid points. Perhaps a different strategy would lead to a different outcome. Perhaps not. Your strategy doesn't appear to be successful either, so any and every strategy is worth a try, imo.
