Shareholders meeting this AM. Smith absent
Two meetings running concurrently. one behind closed doors apparently.
Is Tata planning a coup?

Just heard from a friend who travels in the field.

A directors meeting always follows an AGM.  I would ask Smith why he is not there, pretty obvious. Didn't TATA fire Sharma?

You noted the connection between TATA and Sharma.  Ashwath Mehra was a senior partner at Glencore.

@miner540. Are you referring to "TATA Steel" the one that was involved in the "New Millenium Iron corp" BOD?

A previous poster noted the relationship between TATA Steel and Sharma.  Sharma was a member of the Board.   I was pointing out that Mehra previously was a senior partner at Glencore.  Bottom line being that both Sharma and Mehra have  ties with major players in the industry.   May or may not help with any future strategic relationships.

@miner540. Do you remember New Millenium Iron Corp? It was a very promising company but it has delisted a few years ago and the company went bust. It just so happened that some persons from TATA Steel joined the board of directors at New Millenium Iron Corp a few years before it went bust. Planning a coup - interesting comment.  What does that look like?  Go Private, takeover or preventing a takeover.  Might explain the 60M shares issued to insiders.   Like everything else, it will play out over time.  What else are you hearing Breizh?
