New Cheerleaders, Same Sensitive Souls

Wow plenty of people getting butt hurt about me responding with facts and resorting to name calling.
Same sensitive souls on here.

If you'll go through my previous posts about this company I was very in on Loop, now FOBI. I was always posting with a sense of realism too, many on here post absolute fantasy contracts with no idea how business works.

First I'd like to address a few things, not once did I hurl insults or call anyone stupid for investing in this company. I held quite a few shares, lapped them up at 22 cents as I expected it was as low as the price would get so risks were lower. I never claimed to sell at the top, I said I sold at the peak meaning it was in the share high region but not at the absolute height, I did realze a decent return.
The reason I exited was because of the lack of conversion. I'd been in for so long and the press releases just became noise. Everything was talks, POC etc. Nothing converted and anything that was was zero revenue.

Looking at the financials Rob is drawing a huge salary for a small cap pre revenue company, that concerned me. There have been too many red flags here.

People hark on about oh Rob has now put in $350k of his own money from this recent fund raise. Firstly look at how much money he has taken out of the business, he is the founding shareholder. Usually those folks don't take a salary or at least just draw a living wage because when the company is successful they will net a much higher return and those funds in the early days are better spent elsewhere.
Secondly when going in to a major fund raise investors will look to the CEO/Founder seeking the funds, if they don't have skin in the game they will find it extremely difficult to convince investors to part with serious capitol so I'm sure he was advised to put some money in,,,,which actually he'd drawn out of the company previously.

I walked away because of the burn rate of this company and the stuff I'm seeing does not make sense. The internet searches were not favourable seeing staff previously going unpaid for months.

If you want to look at this company through rose tinted glasses then do so, that is up to you. When this board was a little bit more lively I prefered having more pragmatic discussions with the fellow investors and not all the fantasy pie in the sky hopes that are much more prevelant today.

Last thing, I am so glad Jethro is nowhere to be seen as he was the most annoying of all the fantasists who spoke utter nonesense and based all his info from interacting with the marketing team and Rob directly. My advice to anyone is do full due dilligence, the financials are public and easiliy accessible and if the press releases don't have financial projections contained in them then just ignore them as it's just marketing material.

Wasn't happy to put any sort of money in when staff went unpaid for months. In fact if you read what was posted on job rating sites it appears he went on holiday during that period as well. And again I will reiterate this man is taking a large salary, he is using that to strengthen his share position. Look at the financials,,,,never in my life have I seen a CEO of a startup take as sizeable a ...more

You are just reinforcing what he believes FOBI will become. If he's dumping his wages into shares then obviously he's very bullish on it. If it was a scam like you bashers say it is, why would he dump cash into it to watch it erode away? I'll wait for your reply champ.

I have been on here for over 20 years and inthat time Ihave seen other posters get sued for posting accusations that they were not able to prove hope you can prove what you just wrote.

If true lawyers would have a field day with the bashers on the yahoo finance board....what a sad place that is.
Comment by DeepValie on Jul 15, 2021 9:49am
What does that have with fobi? We have the case where CEO pumped sp, and clearly from 'just about' signing deal to complete unknown in any direction.  This the case where share holders could sue Fobi.  I know tons of cases where shareholders sued a company because CEO lied. Latest was IDEX last year. They talked about facility that they didn't move in, and lawsuites just ...more

So what you are suggesting is that Telus, Sobeys, NTT etc are all complete fools too and have not done any DD on FOBI? The employeees they are taking from other companies are also jumping blindly into this also? I want to live in your fantasy world.
Comment by DeepValie on Jul 15, 2021 12:03pm
Pff ArtVandelay79, what are you talking about? Partnerships don't mean anything. Neither side is obligated by any means. Even LOI doesn't mean too much. Pilots will go through, and Sobey can say, we need time and we'll get back to you. Even if it goes through what is $$ amount, how many stores in the rollout. How we are going to charge them. PerUser.. ok, what price?  Well ...more

Just google sites where current and former staff tend to review the companies they work for. There are a number of posts outlaying that they weren't paid for months, paycheques were always late and that while they weren't being paid the boss was on vacation

I don't mind being proven wrong I'll check.

To speculator; you have to do better than that spec. Provide the links.

Lol. Glassdoor reviews actually look pretty good. You're clearly full of s***. I wouldn't stress about the dip. I actually added yesterday at 1.02. This isn't some scam or a scheme... there is valuable proprietary technology and Fobi is expanding its team as fast as possible to support the integration with Sobeys and others... This type of work doesn't happen over night.  I ...more

If you've read the glassdoor reviews you can see that there are negative reviews stating that staff weren't paid for months and Rob went on holiday during that time. Not exactly positive. There are other reviews on other sites stating the same thing with delayed paycheques and not getting paid for months. If you read the responses from the business to those reviews they acknowledge there ...more

What is his salary?
Comment by speculator24 on Jul 15, 2021 2:00pm
His current salary is $221k, his salary prior to Covid was $300k And Artvanderley, Sobey's is a pilot, nothing has been executed. How many other pilots and LOI's have there been and none of them went through. The Telus deal is a reseller agreement, it represents zero revenue. It's like a supermarket putting a can of beans on the shelf in an aisle
Comment by filoux004 on Jul 15, 2021 2:05pm
Fun fact last quarter they spent 14K! that's right on R/D expenses!!! Fun fact they hired a PR Firm EMC LLC for 250k us$ a year!!! which by the way after 3 fluff pieces as gone totally silent. Fun fact FOBI in financial jargon mean Fear of being Invested. Go Bucks Go
Comment by Gordinno on Jul 15, 2021 2:20pm
Your going to go the way of seelow very soon
Comment by ArtVandelay79 on Jul 15, 2021 11:55pm
Sure thing champ....because Telus would want to associate with what you describe as a failure. Good luck shorting little fella!
