Fobi (TSXV:FOBI) completes SOC2 Type 1 certification --Just my honest opinion but looks to me Amazon was waiting for this and is the first to sign on.JMHO.

Fobi CEO Rob Anson stated: “The significance of this accomplishment cannot be understated as we have dedicated thousands of hours over the last 9 months in efforts to ensure a successful outcome. Passing the SOC 2 audit gives us a distinct competitive edge as we can assure our current and various pilots and prospect customers in our pipeline that we have taken all steps necessary to keep ...more

Really Rob? 1-How much potential income can result from this? 2-What are the expenses involved to execute this? 3-Are the current  expenditures going to increase the debt level? 4-What are the expectations for future expenditures? 5-What happened with anticipation of uplisting? 6-Has there been any progress with Sobey's,if yes, then what? 7-Does FOBI have enough cash on hand to implement ...more

Hey Steamer-Boy you certainly have a lot of questions rightly so Rob has always stated that any shareholder can always call him and many do  However should you take time to listen to the broadcast at noon hopefully some or all of your questions could be answered. That being said  I am certain you must be aware of the size of Amazon so now with Fobi getting access to 5 million of Amazon ...more

I am not hopeful Rob will answer any question I posted. His responses are usually to "laid back" and he finds a reason to dodge giivng a straight answer.Don't believe me?Focus on how he responds to questions and usually the questions he answers are very soft questions selected by??? Amazon, could be huge, but here again we have a"could be".

He did take acouple of "hard ball topics"......  about Burn rate:  As already known huge option hand outs in lieu of cash salaries / bonuses. vital that "every one" has skin in the game great incentive to grow the future. About share price. Some writers needed convincing that he can somehow control the share price, short of buying a million more shares.  Is very ...more

Thanks for sharing pacer hopefully within a couple more months and we will have a better idea where this is going in the short term...

"About share price. Some writers needed convincing that he can somehow control the share price, short of buying a million more shares." I don't believe anyone thinks Rob can control the price, but what he can do is install confidence in shareholders(and others) by using an upbeat attitude(selling) the company's future.Get it....selling!!! Do you know many CEO's do this, and why ...more

Steamer---- I hope the stock price goes back up before you have a heart attack  obviously you can't read between the lines because if you could you would realize that Amazon was doing nothing until Fobi achieved the Security system that Rob said they lost out on bidding for large contracts  due to not having that system in place.Guess what as soon as the security system was in place ...more

I am no where near of having a heart attack.I seen this rodeo many, many times over the past 40+| years and the problem I am having is,I do read between the lines, so each to his/her own way of investing.good luck.
Comment by steamerlane on Dec 03, 2021 9:38am
Hers read between the lines........Rob says he cant control the share price, which true, but what doesn't tell is,he can influence the share by his actions. This is and has been done by CEOs for as far back as I can rmember,it is not illegal or unethical,it is simply helping to support the share price, install confidence in the shareholders(which in turn creates stock buyers) and at the same time ...more

Comment by zabber on Dec 02, 2021 12:24pm
Are you sure they are getting access, or are they just selling their hardware/software package to small businesses via the marketplace?
Comment by thearab on Dec 02, 2021 12:47pm
Read the release I don't run the company send Rob a message and I am sure you will get an answer
Comment by zabber on Dec 02, 2021 2:28pm
I did read the release. It sounds like they have become a vendor on the Amazon platform, not a business partner per se. I'm curious why you concluded "Fobi getting access to 5 million of Amazon's customers." Did I misunderstand part of the news release?
Comment by woundedknee on Dec 02, 2021 2:44pm
I guess "access" is not the same as "reaches', which it states in the NR
Comment by davsen on Dec 02, 2021 2:01pm
I'm inclined to agree with Zabber  ,as I read the release it's a business facing store front to sell the Fobi devices and and with that pay to use support contract for analytics ..
Comment by Iwinsung on Dec 02, 2021 11:09am
did you read financial report? Better to do your own research rather harashing company CEO who supposed to focus on business.

jrk8888-----Add this part to your post                                            Until now we have been ineligible to participate in various RFP’s (Request For Proposals) and as a result, we have lost out on many large-scale projects due to the lack of possessing the SOC2 compliance and ...more

Here is my 5 cents. I made loads of money on this stock and I want to thank to Rob Anston, how I could not. You have a choice to wait long term for the company to move to different range of ravenue and the opportunities will obviously be there.. or to wait mid term for next hype and wave. I held Fobi at $0.37 and sold too early around $0.9.. after that we had a ride to $2.8 or something.. hype was ...more

.. just to add couple of more points. It's rare for small cap to cross the land and move to mid cap and large cap. Many people got caught with some of the stocks like NTAR, VERY ... these stocks went to $9-10 and they were just about to get listed to NASDAQ.  None of them looked back. With Fobi it is different, upside is more likely to happened. If you got caught and stepped into $2-$3 ...more
