Very certain, that Americans got wind of a coming announcement, most likely tomorrow AM. Volume after 3:25 pm was 223,000 in last half hour. If it was just a rumor that could be false, the Institutional play would NEVER be that heavy. FIVE of last seven trade days in USA were above 50 trades / day.  In previous 22 days there were zero such days!
