Just thinking and reading some more on the Influencer NR.
Influencers, for some reason, have a lot of influence (and make a lot of money apparently). The advertising budgets for Influencers was about 1 billion US in 2015; it's estimated that the advert budgets for Influencers will be 14 billion US for 2022. The advert experts also expect that the global Influencer market will grow with a CAGR of over 33% through to 2030, which puts the Influencer market at $137 billion by 2030.
The Coupon Market was about $4.67 billion in 2020 and the advert/coupon experts see a Coupon CAGR of 18.6 to 20.6% through to 2031. If you use the lower annual growth of 18.6%, you get a coupon market value of over $30 billion US by 2031.
Influencers don't do a lot of hard work for their money. So, if they can get in on distributing coupons and get paid for each coupon delivered and confirmed used (all handled by someone like FOBI, then an Influencer would be happy to add another $100K to $200K annual to their income for just talking, but not lifting a finger (FOBI and the product producers do all the heavy lifting). So, this Influencer Platform may not be a bad idea.
So, FOBI gets revenue from the Influencer via the new Platform, FOBI gets revenue by way of Coupon Distribution/Redemption by way of the Influencer and all the data FOBI gets via the Influencer Channel is a huge value to the CPG's and Retailers, and therefore potentially more revenue for FOBI again.
That's why I'm liking this new platform more.
