European Union's Digital Identify Wallet Initiative

Some readers may find the following articles/Weblinks interesting reads, some may not.  I provide no opinion/commentary.

Further to David Sporer’s (Managing Director of Passcreator) posted article “State of the Wallet” December 28, 2024, he refers to the European Union’s Digital Wallet Initiative.  Weblink:

The above Weblink was provided to readers in an earlier post and is only provided as reference/context to the following European Union project.

The European Commission maintains a website regarding its Digital Wallet Initiative providing details of the structure, the passed legislation, the schedules, and the launches.  It appears that all the testing is done, the building seems to be completed in 2024 and that access begins to roll-ou in 2025 with full European compliance, access and roll-out for the 500 million European Union members by 2026.

Fobi is broke and a very real possibility it will be out of business soon and sold for scraps. The commission does not have to approve this application to allow the share purchase. Keep in mind that Fobi owes back taxes and and a significant amount in their employees CRA contributions. They are in arrears for at least a years worth of contributions, that is serious!
