TRR uses a gold price of $ 1500 and a recovery rate of 95 %

GCU uses a gold price of $ 1300 and a recovery rate of 80 %.

TRR has $100 million in cash with 0 debt GCU has to go to market in the first half of this year, likely $20 million in PP.

I made a point of listening to the CC. This resource is an in-pit calculation and holds up to conservative geologic scrutiny unlike other recent reports by TRR and BAT. Comparing TRR with GCU is a joke. Not all NI 43-101 are created equally. These links are fantastic.  GCU management knew that the report would be scrutinized from all angles, and this type of skepticism, or worse, is exactly what they wanted to avoid. They chose the ultra-conservative appro. They did the right thing. And they got punished for it. It's just not right. This company has always eschewed hype, and always been honest and transparent with investors ...more

The market will figure it out, Geospot. Noticed the TRR had a rougher day today than we did, not that I wish them anything but success. I repeat, " mineral resources estimated on the basis of a gold price of                      U.S.$ 1300............ and estimated 80% recovery for gold ...more

Excellent interview. Sounds like the geologist can taste 7 million ozs and suspects more, possibly considerably more. Can not imagine one or another of the majors not wanting at least a piece of this. Also can imagine the actual development of this mine required to wait while a lot of drilling is being done to determine how big, how deep; and an approach/mining plan that optimises the value of ...more
