SOLAR PANEL + ENRICHED C14
Do Beta Solar panels exist ?
Yes.
There are betavoltaic and alphavoltaic panels that are designed to be more efficient at capturing beta/alpha radiation.
Think of the possiblities.
Manufacturer loads ( enriced beta via lazer ) into C14 compressed graphite panels.
Graphite panels emit their beta energy.
No sun needed.
Does the nuclear industry have mega tonnes of graphite waste ?
Enriched with beta ?
Yes...
Problem ?
It also has the gamma ( harmful )
Which places clean graphite deposits under the scope.
Doping or Enriching graphite with only, Beta.
Carbon 14 can be enriched by,
0.156 Megaelectronvolt
Which translates to,
24 MWh
To put in context
a typical Canadian family home uses roughly 7 MWh per year
Cater to consumers ( massive market ) even current solor end users switch over
or
Large plant generating Beta to Volt to MW
Graphite deposits are known to already contain the C14
GEM should perform a quick test to see if deposit already harbors Beta.
To answer last poster -
Because nuclear is a massive market.
Mega $$$ for funding.
Battery space is over saturated.
Lots of competition.
