Why would a strategic investor put C$35M into Giga Metals

to bring it to the next stage when it can take over with a similar amount(which is peanut)?  A clean buyout has full autonomy.

Not missing a thing except the price of buying the company is a lot more than C$35M. My shares have a price tag of $5.00 each. Every other shareholder has their own price and judging from the low volume on this stock, most holders have a price that is a lot higher than today's prices. Good luck buying up enough shares to have a controlling interest in this company. A clean buyout is even more ...more

Buy 17M shares(20%) for a buyout is doable for any car battery or car company.
