A Red Flag

When Management of a company at this stage starts spending money on stock promotion..... aka investor relations......its time for me to move to the side.

It's a clear sign they need more money than they thought. They will try to boost the SP prior to another round.

Oh well

You maybe right, about need of $, but I do not think it as a negative move.. "Need more money then thought" - happens all the time when a project is successful.  Compare to mining - if drill results are great, more drilling is needed, empty holes can save money in short term, but I would rather see development related dilution. Also, the strategy to promote first, then raise money ...more

Neosceptic,  Appreciate the thought but that is not how it works in tech. Initial money is raised with little or no guarantee of even modest success. Subsequent money is raised post milestone achievement, not before. Milestones are published. The market places its bets and if successful then the share price normally appreciates along with the achievement. Should the company need additional ...more

SIMPLICITI, Although, my my mane investments are in mining, I have some idea about tech market. They are not very different from mining junior. The described by you way, milstone - rasing $ - next milstone is an ideal path for all juniors, unfortunately life have too many corrections. Even most successful developer often runs out of $ before reaching even most likely successul result. And ...more

Neosceptic..... I am in the tech industry and develop products. There is a finite end game here. It is to develop and commercialize a battery technology based on a patent they do not own. They have no patents on any of the products they produce. They do have a license, the terms of which are largely unknown, to combine their ability to economically produce graphene and combine that with the ...more

SIMPLICITI, Thank you. Always appreciated detailed response, some food for thought. This is risky investment, but the calculating risk is possible here. Per April presentation, June is a big month and we are in May. So, far management delivers - one of my biggest reason I am betting big on GMG. Hope they continue. Their strongest point, the pace of development. As you noted there are few ...more

Neosceptic, I'm not sure why you are thanking him for that gibberish. I hope he knows more about his tech business than he knows about the stock market. He would have you believe they need 100's of millions of dollars tomorrow when in fact there will be multiple financings on the way up if they prove up [just as you said, like jr miners] & they want to keep the share price strong ...more

Uggg,  I do not mind criticism of the speculation, even if it has flaws.  For now, it helped me to make decision, I put bid at $3.90. I think SIMPLICITI is right, they will not start promoting stock before good result, milestone. Smart management hiring PR companies in advance, so they would prepare campaign well.  Their next big news per the Presentation schedule is end of June.& ...more

Neosceptic, I should have told you that he followed me over from another board where I made some truthful comments that he didn't like. Now, in his petty vindictiveness he is trying to trash this stock. You can search his name & read his tantrums & name calling.

A bit of the pot calling the kettle black their my little troll....

Uggg, As usual your ignorance is on parade for all to see. While the license agreement may be for twenty years you can rest assured that GMG doesn't get a free ride. There will be commercial thresholds that must be met to maintain the agreement. Now if you know what they are then please share them with the board. If not then I suggest you go back to that hole you keep poking your head out of ...more

You are a petty little man. I would suggest you start your d&d with the company video, you might learn something.

Give your head a shake Uggg my boy..... I@ve watched and listened to every presentation and read press release. Then I did research..... Go away little troll.....

Uggg,  You're out of your depth..... as a troll and as an investor..... find another sand box to play in.......  Over and out!

One of their directors sold off completely all of his shares by the end of March, the lowest price was CA$3.99.  Maybe this time it's different, but surely it looks suspicious to me.

Just checked. Robert William - exersised stock option and then, sold these shares on open market. Nothing special.  Would be better if he kept the shares, but this is not a selling off either.
Comment by david3549tw on May 09, 2022 12:45pm
Yeah, he still has some stock options on hand.  But it's insider selling nontheless.  I prefer to see insider buying instead.
