Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) is currently making carbon batteries that are easy to make, easy on the environment, and easy to recycle.
GMG’s tech is currently in the testing phase. However, the company is currently developing pouch cells that will allow its batteries to be used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications like EVs.
Looking at the company’s press releases, it appears there is nothing but good news. 9 months ago, GMG partnered with Bosch to produce graphene + aluminum ion batteries. 8 months ago, GMG opened a pilot production and testing plant for its graphene materials. 7 months ago, the company sent the first G+AI coin cell batteries to customers for testing.
While waiting for testing results, GMG announced a partnership with Rio Tinto to secure material to manufacture its batteries at scale. The company also partnered with Wood to engineer and develop expansion into manufacturing.
Two months ago, not only were there positive results from GMG’s coin cell testing, but they also manufactured their first pouch cell battery. Pouch cells are going to be where the money is at for GMG, so developments on this are well worth watching out for.
GMG.v is currently trading at $3.35, valued at $263.86 million.
