We’ve been in Greenbriar for a long time, mostly in an effort to capitalize on the company’s solar project in Puerto Rico, which has been riddled with setbacks. This hasn't been on the part of the company, however, but because of bureaucratic buffoonery and partisan pissing matches. The good news is that legally, that solar project must be built, so regardless of the delays, Greenbriar is still set to get this thing done.

 

The company’s housing development in Tehachapi, California, has also proved to be quite valuable, and I expect to see more benefits from that one later in the year.

 

Greenbriar is a buy at current levels.

"The good news is that legally, that solar project must be built,..." That is quite the statement. I am not aware of any "legal" reason this project in particular must be built. There is a legal mandate for Puerto Rico to develop renewable energy projects. There is nothing legally binding stating the Montalva solar project "must" be built. Montalva was not deemed to

Keep in mind, this does not mean the project will not be built by any means. LUMA is working to upgrade the island's transmission infrastructure and Line 37100 along with the transformer stations may be part of those upgrades. It is definitely a huge issue currently if the line and stations aren't capable of accepting Montalva but what happens in the future is unknown. If Jeff can shed
