PBJL, the vehicle for Greenbriar's Montalva solar farm project in Puerto Rico, is requesting an extension of 20 days to reach an agreement with PREPA.

JOINT MOTION TO COMPLY WITH ORDER TO INFORM

TO THE ENERGY BUREAU:

COMES NOW, Petitioner PBJL Energy Corporation (“PBJL ENERGY”) and Respondent

Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) through the undersigned counsels and

respectfully alleges, states and prays as follows:
 

1. On October 31, 2022, PBJL ENERGY and PREPA filed a Joint Motion to Inform

Status of Feasibility Study and Request for Extension of Time. On January 27, 2023 the Energy

Bureau entered an Order, in regard to the Joint Motion, requesting the parties to inform on the

status of the case by February 10, 2023.
 

2. The parties hereby inform that they are in the process of reaching an agreement in

principle that would allow them to end the case shortly. Nevertheless, the parties are in need of

twenty (20) additional working days to complete this process, including drafting the settlement

agreement with all applicable steps to obtain necessary approvals.
 

WHEREFORE, Petitioner PBJL ENERGY and respondent PREPA respectfully requests

the Energy Bureau to approve this motion and consequently grant an additional twenty (20)

working day extension to complete this stage of the settlement process.

Great News very positive! Long time coming Puerto Rico under the gun now from Washington to start the ball moving on Solar, They screwed around long enough with our company from years ago! l believe we will not heard from Jeff on this project until signed deal and announced by Puerto Rico government agencies. Also we are 2 close to the finish line and big $$$$ are table for wrong words to derail
