Nice listing. It will be interesting to see what this actually sells for, especially considering the comparatives by the same builder. That is a higher-end house, every upgrade costs money. From the stonework up front, to the brick/block fence, to the solar panels, the included appliances, they all add a lot more to the cost than most realise. I know because we recently built a new house. And there are things that aren't readily obvious, such as upgraded flooring and nicer fixtures, as you pointed out. As an example, we could ...more

And that didn't include the price of the lot. So from Khovanian's profit, or any builder's profit, you have to subtract the costs to install services, roads, etc. Builders do make money ...more
