A strong legal position is required to negate the entire BOND Issues from past dealings with the Maduro regime that may be considered Illega in the USA .
Bond holders will need to pursue their positions directly with the Maduro / Cuban / Russian / Iranian / Chinese regimes !

ugluuak, you don't know what you're talking about. If what you said were true, the bond issue would have been settled by now. The fact is, lawyers have said the bond holders have a strong case. If you disagree, why are the bonds trading around 96 cents on the dollar? And why did the bond holders reject a resolution with Robert Pincus after negotiating for months?  This after the
