Looking to Invest Here

Been keeping an eye on GSP for a couple of months. Reading all of the comments here, good and bad. Very well read people here. Info has been handy. Whether you've posted negative or positive, you guys have been informative.

I would like to start a core position. Wondering your guy's thoughts on entering at this SP? I know all of that "not financial advice" stuff. Won't hold anyone to it. Looking for opinions. I am gun-shy to enter as I got very badly burned on an investment I made a year ago, which has done nothing but fall. Borderline going to delist from the Nasdaq type of bad. So I'm hesitant to enter if there is thoughts of this gradually going lower and lower.

thanks in advance

FOMO, the folks at Gsp have a strong management team, and and an excellent business model for catering to specific smaller end users. In fact, their model has been high lighted in a recent journal  “One great example of an operation developed with full optimization, and footprint minimization, which aligns with a systems-based CE approach, is GenSource Potash. This vertically integrated ...more

Thank you for the reply and link MDJ.  I have never been one to swing trade. I prefer longer term investing. However this one looks like it swings up to 20% at times. Might be worth it to try swinging while this company is in the development stages?

Good morning FOMOspaien.  These message boards abound with scoundrels, I caution you to base your due diligence on any subject under discussion here.  I urge you to call the company for your queries at 306 974-6414, hopefully, during this very busy period for the company they will have time to speak with you.  I'm adamant in my opinion that the first place to seek due diligence ...more

Cheers Black. Appreciate the reply.  I will never base my investment decisions strictly on comments / opinions of internet strangers. However I do give some merit to it. Up until my recent catastrophic failure of an investment, I had been doing well. I did my DD based on fundamentals, market research, and product research. All seemed good on paper. What I didn't do was pay attention to ...more

Very well said FOMO. All the best to you in your information gathering journey and if you are interested, the last Tugaske Technical Report is a really good start.    https://minedocs.com/22/Tugaske-TR-05162021.pdf KKE took over from Engcomp and Innovare for the process design of the process plant for the Tugaske Project, and optimized certain parameters based on their collective ...more

Personally I am invested because I trust the management team. Had good experience with potash one, now K&S. As Brown has discussed there are more unknowns here with the selective mining process. Good luck to you however you choose and thanks to all who replied with good commen sense and advice rather than just pumping in either direction. With any startup at this stage there are no guarantees.

Thanks again for everyone's replies. In the day and age of online stock forums, I was expecting bias and ignorant comments which I'd have to sift through hahaha. Complete opposite. Good bunch you are.

Limit order set at .165 See if it bites. I'd be happy if my first buy filled there. Happy to sit on that for a while.

just be patient and sit at that price for a week or two...wouldn't surprise me if you get it at that price.....

No worries FOMO Since the sanctions against Russia and Belarus have been levied, there certainly have been some wild swings in several junior potash shareprices.  Npk, Wrx, Krn, Gsp have all been on a roller coaster ride the past few months. A few days ago Krn was in the mid .30s and now in the high .50s . A couple weeks ago Npk was trading in the mid $5 dollar range after a tumble from ...more

Certainly is tough to watch MDJ. Especially when your long hold is stale, or sitting in the red!

Fomo - GSP is a mine developer, so you need to think of it as a speculation:  a stock that can make large gains or go to zero.  So I would only invest as much money as you are willing to lose completely.  This said, Gensource’s project is fairly well advanced:     (1)  They are fully permitted. (2) They have such an ecologically sound project ...more

Right on BTB. Thank you as well! Thanks to all. Will continue DD. Hopefully make up my mind soon enough.

Don't invest anything you aren't willing or prepared to lose... If you want a safer bet, invest in bonds and ETFs that pay dividens. GSP is a risk, despite what anyone says. Don't take my word for it, look at their history. Up and down. Lost financing, then got some back. Still waiting. Covid made things more difficult, so did the war in Ukraine, both things completely out of their ...more

And a concern that the proof for the mine design for both Western and Gensource is the Utah mine. My read is that mine produces very little potash (dclining production) from the horizontal drilling patterns. So far it hasn't worked at all for western.

Great to see you oldsalt72 I find it interesting that the Gsp mine is modeled from Intrepids mines, as I was under the impression that Intrepids solution mine was actually a flooded out producing conventional mine to begin with. Obviously the Vanguard mine does not have that luxury of drawing brine from a previously operating underground potash mine. I have heard Western plans to or has already ...more

great comments MDJ....I find it totally disgusting that GSP has not come out with an update on financing and operations....no news is bad news!!!!

I am guessing that cost escalations are a new concern. The innovarre approach is extremely expensive with cogeneration, and a plan to use spent steam for refrigertion (recently changed to compressors), coupled to a mine plan with dozens of horizontal wells. Some of this has doubled in th last 6 months. Definitely time to move back to a simpler polythermic approach to prove the technique to get it ...more

Agree 100% oldsalt "Need to make this happen for the good of the industry. " Once this novel tech is proven, it will open so many doors for third world countries, trying to secure their own resources. Win Win for all involved
Comment by mdjbrown on Aug 09, 2022 9:26am
thx sw248 It has got to be tough for not only Gsp, but all the horizontal selective mining hopefuls, as the struggles with Westerns pilot mine really put a magnifying glass on the novel technology and the fact that it still has a long way to go to become an economically viable option to build smaller, more environmentally friendly, potash mines. I cant imagine any deep pockets willing to gamble ...more
