Don't need assays

They know the sulphides at Tyko have high Ni-Cu tenors so as soon as they see sulphides in the core they will scan with their hand held X-ray fluorescence  device to get appoximate assay numbers. Within an hour or two after the core comes out of the ground, they will know more or less what they have,

Interesting Mook!  I never knew about these devices but after a quick search I found this abstract fyi.
