I suppose that given the cash on hand and more flowing from warrents, GWY will not be seeking additional financing any time soon. So its not surprising that the current value of the SP is not one of their top priorities at the moment.

I still can`t think of a credible scenario that accounts for 1 year of good drill results followed by 6 months of silence if the results during that 6 months continued to be positive.  What would GWY have to gain by the silence.  There is of course the unthinkable!

There is of course the unthinkable!    Which is....??   If GWY is sitting on material information, specifically assay results whether positive or negative, do they not have an obligation to let the market know?  Suppose the holes drilled six months ago showed poor results.  If the market is notified, investors then have the information to decide whether to sell and move on ...more

I understand the discosure thing and I have made the same point in a previos post. The issue I am grapling with is who benefits by the 6 months of silence irrespective of the legality issue.

If I were looking to take a run at Galway then my stipulations within the offer would be for the company to keep quiet.  Why would the company do so?.....The only reason would be if they deemed the offer to be acceptable, otherwise you are right, it's in everyones best interest to get the pom poms out, and start sending out the news.  Galway's CEO is sitting ...more

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that this management does not care about shareholders in general and probably considers them a bit of a pain. Just my opinion.

I think they don't care about handholding shareholders.  I want news just as much as anyone else, but if the CEO has skin in the game then that is enough for me to know he'll have our best interest in mind.  I have seen and met plenty of CEOs who could care less about the average shareholder, and just collect their paycheck.    Rob has 2,300,000 shares so you must ...more

I agree with you Shiff. There is also the shareholders right plan. This holds some assurance in the shareholders interest and long term loyalty? Does it not?
