Reason: Pending Company Contact Does this mean it was halted by the exchange? Normally if a Co halts it says: Pending news...correct?

I would say with 25 million shares traded, the exchange made the call to ask "whats up"?  It would be too late for news given how many shares have traded.  Co will advise it is not aware of anything that woudl cause the volume or share rise.  Stock will drift down again.  Sigh.

If they had news, they would have halted before open.  Now they can't come out and say news, it would be the worst kept secret, think of the insider trading.  I guess they could say there has been interest, but as of right now, no deal in the works...
