Here's are - 2 cores - from RedChris mine ( Newmont + Imperial )
Look at those grey ores with chalocpyrite - impressive.

Here's a pic of the mine site - open pit - notice the grey loose soils - porphyry style.
Based on my own visuals, that being, RedChris mine appears to have loose soils,
with areas such as the core that depict the ore as almost - breccia fashion - a consortium of
small quartz and a mixture of heinz 57 ores along with chalcopyrite.
Question becomes....
What are the odds of RedChris having an upper strata ( loose till ores ) and a soild
(
got lucky ) deeper deposit that just so happen to host - copper ?
Here Mapcarta - Mount Thatue - set the map at scale - 3km - to gain a bearing of, RedChris' southern location ( 20 km ) and
to that of, Mount Thatue.
Why do this ?
All in plight of, wanting to know where the - loose porphry ores came from, where did these loose ores flow in from - what direction ? A loose porphry deposit has to come from somewhere - right ?
https://mapcarta.com/24672178 Once you've gainedyour bearing - and map stil lset at 3km scale - focus on immediate north of Mount Thatue and atop of Zectoo Mountain. These two mountains appear to have same ore characteristics.
I've zoomed in and compared the topical ( surface ores - ) specifically - grey ores.
I also noticed - small
float rocks atop Zectoo - and....
soft till soils. Almpst as if, washed in from a large watershed. \
These two zones - immediate north of the word Mount Thatue and atop Zectoo,
over the years ( deposited ) their loose ores in the narrow valley aside of, Mount Thatue.
Even as mush as, the range opposite of, 2019 drill hole appears to ( possibly ) have a sugar coating of these grey washed ores coating the mount ( approx 1/2 up the mount ) where the 2019 ( 709m ) drill hole was punched.
Had they positioned the drill 1/2 up the mount facing Mount Thatue, perhaps they would've
caught some of the deposited loose tills that appear to have come from the Zectoo and north of Mount Thatue.
Could these loose tills have made their way ot RedChris ?
Or, could the loose tills above the word Mount Thatue and atop of Zectoo be another porphyry deposit - loose tills ?
Again, scan the topof the Zectoo and just north of the word Mlount Thatue,
looks really sweet. But, i could be wrong.
In mining, it doesn't take much to miss the mark, a hundred meters or even pitch of drill is all that's needed to either miss or hit the sweet spot.
I would think a retake is more than appropriate.
Focusing on the two specified areas i've mentioned.
Mount Zectoo and immediate north of Mount Thatue, could be an area that might prove positive based on. grey ores, and loose tills, that may have formed a porphyry deposit .
Sampling on the map below, shows really good copper grades.
Yet, the drill was positioned wel laway from these great samples.
Now... I've heard of a junior tapping 150m - 200m on a first hole.
But... 709m ?
What would provoke a junior to push past 200m ?
I would love to see the cores - in box - several pics -
to see what Hawk ran into at each - 10m interval.
And, the map below with landmarks, in which to better gain one's parameters.
Ya know.... if any - one junior, and there's several up in this GT area nearby RedChris,
hit a porphyry deposit - they'd be loved by Newmont and Imperial...lol
The samples taken in 2018 - 2019, should give cause and encourage junior to chase
the copper / silver values.
In the - Aris McBride - report, i noticed the geophysics labelled Mount Thatue as a high Mag target, but... when dealing in reconsolodated porphyry depoists i would think seeking only electrical charge would fair better - based on - copper, zinc, silver, are non magnetic.
Hawk - should try focusing simply on electrical charge instead of, mag.
The greatest copper values were all outside the high mag anomalies.
Which points to, the copper in this zone is not associated to the - iron or high mag res.
Rather, light pale greens and blue electriclal charges.
Stikine geology - i would place a ton of focus on. ( light purple )

But, advice for junior - would love to see a small junior - find a good porphyry deposit .
Do excuse the maount of posts,
but, when one delves into a study on an area, it's kind of hard to say it al lin one post.
It's moreso, a building upon each new data and research to arrive at a sum of all.
