EV Charging to be One of the Fastest Growing Industries

EV infrastructure in Canada is greatly falling behind other countries across the globe. And with so many expanses of highways, this infrastructure is going to need to be improved for the government to reach its 2035 EV goal of all new cars being electric. Really great thread from Twitter about EV adoption and how it’s inevitable to need a lot more chargers even in the US, where their infrastructure is far more developed.

$HC.N has been effectively expanding their presence in Canada, with the recent quarterly report showing revenue above $1M for the first time as they’ve deployed over 1,400 chargers and is now able to compete with its Level 3 DC fast chargers. Additionally, they just listed on the OTCQB exchange.

- Under the symbol HCNWF, the listing gives enhanced liquidity and exposure to US investors.
- This allows the common shares to be eligible for book-entry and depository services at the DTC.

With the company trading at a steep discount compared to peers growing at a fraction of $HC.N’s pace, there’s a lot of room for future growth, especially as the company remains the only publicly listed Canadian charging company. As they continue to perfect the business model as an early-stage company, there’s a lot of growth to come as they secure and leverage previous deals to expand their network of chargers for both recurring and sales revenue.
