Legitimate Question Around Deliveries of New Machines

I love what HIve is doing to increase their hashrate - smart long-term approach. However, has anyone else wondered/assessed what the impact on earnings will be given that many of the deliveries will occur towards the latter half of the year, which means, we won't see the benefits of the increased hashrate until Q4 or even Q1 2022?

Thats a good question....and I think there's a couple of ways to look at it. will this be an added line item under expenses/liabilities side and therefore reduce overall profitablity?  where are the funds to pay for these coming from i.e. from asset sales, from cash holdings or is this all being funded ny the prospectus where they were planning to sell shares into the market to ...more

Great response - I get the impression that these purchases must be paid out of the prospectus, which would mean th Return on Capital would have to be great in order to justify. It likely will, but that return may not be as quick as what the share price reflects.  I haven't seen anything about the completed upgrade either - that would push the earnings from this quarter even further out ...more

Another question that comes to mind... Does anyone recall what the deadline was for us to save the deal to purchase the Kolos facility? I still think if we complete locking in that deal it would be huge news for us as well as far as the future of HIVE goes. 45

[Nous traverserons le pont, lorsqu'on sera rendu a la riviere.  Presentement, Hive fait des profits, elle opere tres bien... et le hp monte, en suivant la  monter du Bitcoin. Tout va bien.  Et quant HIVE recevra ses nouvelles machines, alors la, il y aura un autre boum. Soyons positifs! ]
